To provide scholarship monies to individuals seeking nursing education who are residents of citrus county florida and need some assistance in fur thering their education. The fund is not intended to satisfy all needs for higher education but rather to help students who have made a real effort amd still need some support. The amount given to any individual is generally from $1500 to $2500 each year they are in school and reapply. 2009 scholarships provided $5000. 2010 scholarships provided $2000.
