IRS 990 Nonprofit Profile
4-h Clubs & Affiliated 4-h
4-h offers every youth, regardless of their race, sex, nationality, religion, family income, or residence area the opportunity to practice and learn life skills. Traditionally, these skills focused on agriculture and the raising of animals and the growing of plants. While these areas are still very popular with the traditional 4-h families, there are many other 4-h projects that teach the skills of communication, career exploration and community involvement. 4-h curriculum is age appropriate, and prepared so youth can continue in a chosen area for several years. 4-h is training the future leaders of our community. Competency in basic life skills helps to ensure that youth will feel competent in other areas of their development and to succeed.
