It is the purpose of new standard ministries, inc. to help recovering alcoholics/addicts to begin a new life, free from alcohol and/or drugs, by leading them into the christian life and helping them experience a new standard. they will be given opportunities to be taught by christian men and women who have experienced the challenges of life without the use of alcohol and/or drugs. new standard ministries, inc. provides a safe living environment free of drugs and alcohol. room and board is provided. transportation to 12 step meetings is also provided. there are also in-house 12 step meetings (aa/na and double trouble, for dual diagnosed). transportation to church is provided. bible studies and church services are held at new standard houses. individual and group counseling is provided by a certified addictions counselor. it is the hope of new standard ministries that when a person leaves the half-way house, he/she will be a well-adjusted, productive member of society, who is ready to gi
