The purpose of owc is to provide charitable assistance to youth groups, schools, and organizations that benefit and serve in the community. college scholarhships are granted to good students to encourage and assist in their pursuit of colleg education. the whistle stop thrift shop raises most of their funds as well as providing a way to recirculate used clothes and household goods at very good prices helping young families purchase at less than new prices. the treasures of the point gift shop sells crafts made by local military and family members. over 92 craftsmen showcase their crafts. the commission received provides funds for the assistance grants.
