Mission
The Food Science Club of North Carolina State University (FSC) exists to foster a close relationship among the Department of Food, Bioprocessing, and Nutrition Sciences students and faculty and staff at North Carolina State University, to encourage leadership, and to acquaint students and the community with the scope of Food, Bioprocessing, and Nutrition Sciences.

Community Outreach and Service: FSC conducts activities that encourage development of civic, social, and professional responsibility among members. Furthermore, the FSC has a responsibility to teach and expose the community about the field of food science, such as through presentations at local schools.
