Mission

Nclcv protects the health & quality of life for all north carolinians by: advocating for sound environmental policies that protect our communities, holding elected leaders accountable for their decisions, mobilizing voters to advocate for environmental policies, and electing environmental champions.

Influencing policy program: staff/volunteers performed legislative & non-legislative activities including research, education, lobbying, and policy development. Published weekly e-newsletter for decision-makers. Work with various coalitions of environmental and allied groups to develop strategy and advocate on key environmental issues. Long term objective is to pass sound environmental legislation and strong, equitable environmental protections for all North Carolinians.
