Wohp was established for women by women. Our mission is to restore hope, dignity and empowerment to afghan women who have been oppressed and denied personal freedom, health, opportunity and respect. Wohp seeks to develop an encouraging support network that provides resources to help these women recover from the traumatic devastation of decades of war.we aim to promote lasting change in the lives of the afghan women as follows:"help them to regain their confidence and their united voice; "encourage their families to recognize their value; and "create a sisterhood of women around the world to provide the helping hands they need to rise above the ashes of their broken lives. Today, wohp's mission has expanded to help hundreds of children return to school and to offer vocational training to men. By learning and working an income-producing trade, men and women become contributing members of society, strengthening themselves, their families, and their communities.
