The airport minority advisory council educational & scholarship program, inc. ("amac foundation") is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 for the following purposes: (1) to provide scholarships for students to attend colleges and universities or other equivalent level educational programs in the field of aviation and airport management by making grants, distributions and providing other forms of assistance to individuals and other non-profit organizations in support of such purpose. (2) to prepare, promote, publish and distribute educational materials; conduct educational forums and seminars; conduct educational research and establish an educational data bank for interested members of the general public on air transportation, airports and airport facilities management. (3) to engage in any and all other lawful charitable activities incidental to, and in pursuit of, the foregoing purposes.
