The ncvapp foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes permitted of organizations exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. its functions shall be (1) to make distributions to organizations that qualify as tax exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, (2) to render free medical care to the indigent in north central virginia and to indigent filipinos through medical and surgical missions and other humanitarian projects in the philippines, (3) to promote quality medical care by establishing continuing medical programs for physicians in this area through seminars, medical workshops, publications and distribution of educational materials designed to acquaint physicians and other medical personnel with scientific developments in the field of medicine, and (4) to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of the philippines.
