The mission of the reston masters swim team (rmst) is to promote better health, sportsmanship and continuing physical development through swimming. rmst supports competitive swimming, recreational swimming, and, to a limited extent, instructional swimming. it is well understood that a lifelong exercise program will prolong life and extend the benefits of physical fitness to adults. rmst, a member of the us masters swimming program, hosts one of the few competitive open water swim competitions each year.
