Pause for paws, inc. is a no-kill, all volunteer, foster-based 501(c)(3) organization. we are a stray/street dog rescue, primarily taking in dogs directly from the streets in the san antonio area as well as dogs that are in other unsafe/dangerous situations. in addition, we assist people in the community who have picked up strays. we rescue, treat, rehabilitate, vaccinate, spay/neuter, give heartworm preventative, and microchip all our animals. we provide foster care in a loving environment while we match the animals with their forever homes.
