To offer audiences a diverse spread of musical experiences, with programs grand and intimate, straightforward and interdisciplinary, featuring both well and lesser-known works. our aim in programming was to provide varietyfor our dedicated current audience whilst attracting new lovers ofmusic, both classical and otherwise. we continued a tradition ofincorporating interdisciplinary collaborations in some programs, andall concerts included spoken commentary about the music and historicalcontext and the opportunity to meet the performers.
