A patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness, committed to mentoring & sponsorship of youth programs in the community, advocating patriotism & honor, promoting a strong national security, & continued devotion to fellow service members & veterans. donations are given to fellow veterans & their families in times of grief, as well as, to various scholarship opportunities to ensure the future success of our youth. in addition, post 136 of the american legion maintains a canteen for the social enjoyment and recreation of its members.
