The corporation is organized and operated for purposes that are beneficial to the public interest, including but not limited to providing educational and physical training to student athletes who may be underprivileged and/or impoverished. The Corporation will foster and advance youth sports, including but not limited to track and field, for boys and girls while promoting academics, discipline, leadership and good sportsmanship. In addition to sports education and training, the corporation also focuses on community delveopment and assistance through programs targeted at younger girls through the Prom Glam Project. The corporation will work closely with high school teachers and counselors who will recommend girls by rewarding them with a special day that they will never forget. The Gold Standard Foundation speaks with teachers and counselors who in turn identify those students who have not only performed well academically, but are without resources to attend their senior prom.
