Our mission is twofold: 1 help small businesses - especially minority and woman owned - develop to better be able to do work in transportation and construction and 2 help girls discover sustainable careers in transportation and construction. minority and women owned businesses traditionally get less than 12 of the work on public construction and transportation projects. women are only 8 of the construction workforce. with high paying and sustainable jobs in construction, this career can have a huge impact on a woman's economic equity over her lifetime.
