We are a small non-profit organization running a music camp, one week per year, cultivating interest in, knowledge of, and enjoyment of traditional dance music (particularly the musical traditions most prevalent in the northeast region of the us (and canada)...E.G. quebecois, cape breton, new england, appalachian, irish, and related french, breton and scandinavian music). each year's camp (for adults and teenagers) aims to provide an immersive musical experience which will inspire and encourage (and teach) every camper. we have non-profit status through affiliation with the country dance and song society, a larger organization with an overlapping mission.
