The institute for hebraic-christian studies (ihcs) is a non-proselytizing christian zionist education organization whose vision is to educate christians in their judeo/christian heritage and the history of anti-semitism; encourage relationships between jews and christians through education, mutual respect, communications, and working together for the common good of both communities; and bless israel and the jewish people in the diaspora by encouraging christians to actively stand against anti-semitism and give comfort and support to the people of israel. ihcs hosts special educational and religious meetings; conducts classes on judeo/christian relations; publishes books and articles; leads tour groups to israel; and speaks at churches, conferences, and jewish venues. the institute currently offers courses on the jewish roots of christianity and the hebraic background of the new testament. additionally, in order to attempt to improve christian-jewish relationships, the organization has conducted christian tours of the holocaust museum in houston, texas. for 20 years, the organization also sponsored an annual holocaust memorial service featuring holocaust survivors.
