Reap educates low-income utility customers about efficient usage and conservation measures. reap further promotes and makes available to low-income customers payment programs, as well monetary aid in paying their utility bills. qualifying residents may receive up to $400 in utility bills assistance for the year. in addition, qualifying customers can receive a one-time credit up to $300.00. also,the first responders burn program provides eligible customers with a credit applicable towards the electric portion of their cps energy bill up to $94 per month from april through october of each year. the maximum benefit was increased to $1,200 and will remain for 1 year or until a floor of $1m in funding is reached; thereafter, maximum benefit will lower to 3 times the previous years average monthly residential bill.
