Our mission: to work in solidarity with salvadorans to facilitate community organization in order to address locally identified challenges in el salvador including social, educational and health related issues; our vision: our vision is to assist salvadorans in reaching their full potential as members of and leaders in their families, communities and society;in order to accomplish this mission and vision, we run two main programs in the villages of los tehuistes, san jeronimo, santiago de chile & san pedro martir in the department of la paz, el salvador: 1) knowledge is power: a scholarship and leadership program for high school and university students, and 2) farming for the future: an organic farming/gardening initiative for families to combat malnutrition. we are known in the community for our first project, in which we helped to bring running, potable water to 150 homes.
