Drbcs mission is five-fold: rescue abandoned owner relinquished neglected or stray dachshunds or dachshund mixes. rehabilitate through excellent medical and behavioral support those in our care. re-home those in our charge with an emphasis on their personality and not a quick fix based on needed space. provide life-long sanctuary to those with long-term medical behavioral issues. additionally drbc supports the long-term sanctuary of senior dachshunds. finally we seek to provide community education to enhance the life and well-being of all pets through the drbc community education program.
