Sartell fastpitch softball association (sfsa) is a community based, non-profit, volunteer organization serving youth that live in sartell, st. stephen or currently attend school in the sartell-st. stephen school district. the sfsa is a member of the suburban league. through that membership, it is sanctioned under the rules of two national organizations; american softball association (asa) which govern junior olympic (j.O.) softball and north american fastpitch association (nafa). summer leagues are our primary focus, with a secondary fall league that was introduced during the 2014-2015 season. sartell fastpitch softball association provides programs in the following age groups: 8 and under (8u), and 10 and under (10u), 12 and under (12u), 14 and under (14u), 16 and under (16u) and 18 and under (18u). the emphasis at the 8u & 10u levels is on learning the fundamentals of the game, playing as a team, and having fun. teams at the older age levels also stress fundamentals but add more
