Mothers House Of Change
Mother's House of Change in St. Rose, LA will provide a haven for recovering women who are former substance abusers of alcohol or drugs. Women are served in surrounding parishes. When a person becomes addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, it is imperative to seek immediate professional help before the situation escalates beyond a controllable state. One of the significant aspects of the substance abuse recovery process is to remove all the negative influences, including people which contributed to the addiction in the first place. Hence, it is necessary to ensure that the addiction treatment is carried out in an atmosphere where the addict or the alcoholic feels safe and comfortable more than anything else. Goals are to develop responsibility and improving self-esteem underlying each woman's treatment plan. Residents transition out of the program into independent living or another program. The Halfway House is a strictly all-women population set up in a homelike environment. Our residents r
