IRS 990 Nonprofit Profile
Video Game Bar Association
The purpose of the video game bar association (the "corporation") is to provide a venue and organization promoting the interaction of licensed attorneys whose primary practice is within the video games/interactive media industry. the corporation was formed to fill a need in the video game/interactive industry for an independent organization to provide a community for lawyers around the world working in the industry to discuss issues of common interest. the corporation does not cater to any particular type of legal practice (whether litigation, transactional, in-house and private practice). rather, the common thread is that its members' clients are active participants in the video game/interactive media industry. given the global reach of the video games/interactive industry and the multijurisdictional nature of an increasing number of transactions, the association has attracted video game lawyers from around the world to join as members and/or attend events sponsored by the corporation
