Since its launch in september 2011, jns has hired two full-time editors and one part-time assistant editor, created a website, and engaged dozens of freelance writers, photographers and graphic designers. jns has secured 55 subscriber newspapers (representing 550,000 circulation) for its weekly electronic feed of news briefs and articles, analysis and opinion columns and feature articles about subjects relating to israel, the middle east and judaism. currently, 8 of the top 12 jewish papers by circulation, in addition to 10 smaller papers, are publishing jns news material on a regular weekly basis. jns recently commenced a daily feed of news briefs to subscribers having an online presence and a need to provide up-to-date news, and it is about to launch its social media strategy for attracting a younger demographic to its updated website.
