Able people foundation, founded in 2002, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Able people foundation focuses on the needs of very low-income seniors and people with disabilities, especially those with physical limitations, and works toward preventing injury at home (to both the care giver and the patient), increasing independence, promoting community interaction, and reducing the health care costs to our community and county through providing basic mobility products and advocacy eduction.able people foundation programs:(1) gift of mobility - every year, able people foundation provides a professionally selected brand-new basic mobility product to seniors and people with physical limitations/disabilities.(2) keep it giving program involves the reuse of basic mobility products, such as, wheelchairs, commodes, patient lifts, etc. And other equipment.
