Doreen Grace Fund INC
To bring science about the brain and its disease to the public. To act as a clearing house of information to distressed family members who have trouble finding information about illnesses that have struck their loved ones, and to provide a fine facility for the scientific and health professionals, policy makers, business professionals and students of the neurosciences to get together and think through complex interdisciplinary topics. The brain center focuses on all brain issues, not just a single disease. As volunteers, we facilitate and interact with a brain tumor support group, an alzheimer's support group and assist with networking of information for those in need - public seminars and conferences on depression, alcoholism, drug addiction and schizophrenia. All have been offered free of charge to the public. Free use of the brain center is offered to all non-profit organizations who are in need.
