We are a community of people working together bringing our ideas, passion and experiences to an environment rooted in creating a better tomorrow for families in Boston, Mystic Valley and surrounding neighborhoods. The success of our organization at its foundation is built on the respect and trust of the people in the neighborhoods around us and employees vested in our mission, and without their support and commitment, we wouldn’t be able to deliver much-needed services.
ABCD (Action for Boston Community Development) is a community action agency building pathways out of poverty in partnership with families and communities so that everyone can thrive. It delivers integrated services across areas such as information/referrals (ABCD Connect), health programming (including family planning and youth sexual health education), and education/career development; it also describes a results-driven approach that captures program outcomes, client tracking, and customer satisfaction feedback, supported by strategic planning and community needs assessments.
