This corporation shall not be operated for profit but shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. the specific purposes of this corporation are to improve the work of judges through continuing education; to aid, assist, and cooperate with the legislative and executive branches of government, all other courts, the minnesota state bar association, the american bar association, and the general public, with the goal of insuring timely, effective, and fair administration of justice throughout the state; to educate the public about the role of the courts and the benefits of a fair and impartial system of justice; to make charitable distributions for purposes and to organizations as determined by the board of directors; and to engage in such other activities described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code as determined appropriate by the board of directors.
