Noccj was incorporated as a louisiana non-profit corporation on december 28, 2004 as a human relations organization dedicated to promoting equality and combating disparity. noccj promotes understanding and respect among all races, religions, and cultures through advocacy, conflict resolution and education, and disparity awareness education training. our work moves people along a social change continuum from individual empowerment towards personal and collection action. we provide leaders with the skills and values to oppose discrimination and open minds-their own and other. noccj's programs focus on education, advocacy, conflict resolution, leadership development and training. noccj serves the community through advocacy and educational services, including hosting an annual weiss awards event honoring community leaders and activists who promote the respect and value of diversity. noccj's programming includes cultural diversity workshops and bias awareness education for the community. we provide programs and services to youth, schools, and teachers in orleans, jefferson, plaquemines, st. bernard, st. tammany parishes, and cutoff, louisiana.
