Regina Foundation
Regina foundation was dissolved on 12/31/2023 by its two members, allina health system (ahs) and regina senior living (rsl). regina foundation was formed with a mission to support the operations of the hastings regina campus of united hospital (regina campus) which is owned and operated by ahs and the adjoining benedictine living community - regina (blc) senior living campus owned and operated by rsl. since the time this jointly managed foundation was formed, each member has created a controlled unified foundation to administer and support the operations of their respective healthcare systems and there was no longer a need for a separate foundation to support these two adjoined facilities. ahs continues to support, through the allina health foundation, the operations of the regina campus, and rsl continues to support blc through the benedictine foundation. all funds managed by regina foundation were distributed to the allina health foundation and the benedictine foundation in accordance with the underlying support purpose of each fund. all funds are governed by the same restrictive terms as when held by regina foundation, and all transferred funds will continue to support only the regina campus and blc.
