The purpose of the circle is to present a range of news, opinions, editorials, and issues that cover and reflect the issues and culture of the american indian community. through our unique cultural and historical perspective, we offer a platform and provide a voice for native people which informs, educates, entertains, and unifies native and non-native people. we also seek to improve the quality of native american media and empower native journalists. our newspaper is the voice of the native community in minnesota, and covers the issues that the mainstream media ignores. we offer a place where native people can read about what's going on in their own community. we also offer a place for non-native people to educate themselves about native american culture.
