The primary purpose of the organization is to work in conjunction with the police officers association of michigan toward representing the members of the macomb county deputies and dispatchers association in areas involving: (a) bargaining committee for establishing fair wages, hours, working conditions, and adequate retirement and disability pensions obtained through collective bargaining; (b) to represent member's grievances between employer and the police officer association; (c) to present our membership any and all contracts negotiated by the bargaining committee for ratification by our members; and (d) to promote a better understanding of the nature of the macomb county sheriff's office among public employees.
