Northwest Alano Club INC

To help, support and provide the recovering alcoholic with an alcohol-free environment in which to socialize with other recovering alcoholics. To accomplish this, activities are provided for members and their guests, such as meetings and presentations on alcoholism, and social functions such as dances and parties. In addition to specific activities for the membership, the club operates a snackbar where members and their guests can obtain food and non-alcoholic beverages. Along with the snackbar, the club maintains a general area for game tables, cards, television and reading. The club does not maintain records for each special function other than shown on the 990. A) meetings and lectures - northwest alano club (nwac) holds lectures once a week from october to may. Speakers are qualified counselors and speak on alcoholism and related subjects.
