Maranatha volunteers international, inc. is a non-profit organization providing community structures through volunteer service. our mission is twofold. first, we build urgently needed, strong, dignified structures for worship, education, and health because we believe they are an essential part of a community's development. second, we create short-term volunteer opportunities to complete these projects because we believe the act of service nurtures compassion and cultivates a spirit of generosity. in our 51-year history, maranatha has constructed churches, schools, water wells, orphanages, clinics, community centers, housing, and more in nearly 90 countries around the world.
