Catholic charities provides a wide range of human services primarily for children. Those services include counseling to families, school counseling and diagnostic counseling to minors. The agency also provides in-home foster care, youth intervention programs to youth from child welfare and juvenile justice systems, youth residential services, daycare, and other family related services. Our mission statement is as follows: catholic charities of the diocese of peoria, inspired by christ, respects and defends the dignity of each person; empowers individuals, familes and communities; advocates for a just and compassionate society; and encouranges all people to join us in fullfiling our mission.
