Toko kyudojo, inc. (the "corporation") is dedicated to the practice of kyudo, japanese zen archery. this is a meditative practice, not competitive shooting. to this end the corporation's activities include, now and in the future: (a) classes entitled "first shot" for those beginning the practice; (b) weekly kyudo practice (every monday from 6:00 to 9:00) where anyone who has completed a "first shot" class may participate. (c) approximately monthly saturday or sunday practice sessions at garrison institute in westchester or only in the afternoon at our new york city rented space at the shambhala center; and (d) generally once a year there is a four day program either in the city or at garrison which is essentially a retreat.
