The purpose of the association shall be to promote social cultural charitable educational and literary activities among the malayalees of metropolitan indianapolis area and all over indiana and midwest region and to organize co-operative and charitable activities in the general interest and well being of the members of the association as and when required and to coordinate such activities with other communities. the association is organized exclusively for charitable religious educational and scientific purposes including for such purposes the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
