South Sudanese Friends International (SSFI) was founded in 1994 to advance long-term solutions to the devastation caused by civil war in south Sudan. SSFI is non-sectarian and non-partisan and has no affiliation with any religious or political entity. SSFI promotes the democratic process, peaceful conflict resolution, self-reliance, and human rights. SSFI provides physical and future hope to people in need in south Sudan, irrespective of race, culture, or religion, through the establishment of locally managed multi-service training centers. our objective of informing pro-democratic peoples of the West about the struggling grassroots democratic movement in south Sudan and linking their resources with training and community development projects.
