Cedars hope, inc. Is a not-for-profit organization serving homeless women living with serious mental illness by offering permanent housing, opportunities for growth and companionship, personal support, encouragement toward independence. The cedars hope model of intentional communities fosters psychiatric and housing stability, self-sufficiency, and growth. Within this model, cedars hope staff provides supportive services that help our residents break the cycle of psychiatric crisis and homelessness, maintain their independence and improve self-esteem. We provide supportive staff that monitor and assist our residents with developing symptom and illness self-management skills. Staff is also available to help residents maintain or learn new skills necessary for successful daily living.
