Toys for tots - collect toys for children before christmas. all items collected are distributed to the toys for tots charitable organization. the toys are distributed to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for christmas. mum & pie sales - sell flowers in pots and homemade pies during the fall season. the money collected is put towards projects like buying back-to- school supplies for children that cannot afford to buy these items. we also promote dolly parton's imagination library by distributing new books to young readers. several times per year we issue character awards to area students who made a difference in their school. wreath & cross sales - sell wreaths and crosses during the christmas season. the money collected is used towards community projects like farm safety where children learn how to be safe around animals and farm machinery. project lifesaver is to provide ankle monitors for autistic children and adults to try to prevent disappearances and potential
