IRS 990 Nonprofit Profile
Kansas Junior High School Rodeo
The main purpose of the kansas junior high school rodeo association is to develop character, self-esteem and personal skill to enable members to become responsible adults. The kjhsra does this through the sport or rodeo. We believe the sport of rodeo provides numerous life skill opportunities for our members while competing in individual rodeo events for prizes and yearly points. Rodeos are put together by volunteer committees that work to continue the sport and provide events for members to compete. Members are required to be enrolled in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade. They must be passing at least 4 courses and have signed forms from school faculty that they have met the academic requirements and are good citizens at their schools.
