The mission of the friends of willows cottage is to preserve, restore, and facilitate the adaptive reuse of the historic gate house for the willows estate in radnor, pennsylvania. Through community participation and public-private partnerships we endeavor to create and maintain an asset that will serve the people of radnor township and those beyond its borders. This community led, local government supported project will exemplify the process of participatory democracy and will prove that the spirit of civil engagement is indeed alive in america. The friends of the willows cottage is committed to revitalizing this significant structure by utilizing sustainable and healthy practices that are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and community-oriented. We believe that this enterprise will be one to be extolled.
