Life is dedicated to the development of viable, practical programs that encourage overall health and wellness for individuals living with epilepsy, their families, caregivers, and friends through the creation of non-mecical support tools and methodologies which incorporate all aspects of mental and physical well being. epilepsy toolkit - toolkit project continues with the reprinting and distributing of paper toolkits, converted the toolkit into electronic form which is available for free on our website; converting toolkit to a mobile app available for iphone and android continues. (goal to complete app development is june 2018) epilepsy education and awareness - hosted annual nebraska epilepsy walk; participated in multiple health fairs; arranged & participated in purple day event at chick-fil-a restaurant; participated in domesti -pup awareness event; partnered with plattsmouth, ne community schools to speak with a select group of students each month for 30 mins about epilepsy. participated in the chelsea hutchinson foundation nebraska walk. participating in the baker's non-profit fundraising program as well as amazon smile fundraising program; and continue to have the epilepsy support group in nebraska facebook page where people post questions, events, etc.
