Fund for community leadership initiatives (fcli) is the social-action arm of new york theological seminary (nyts). we serve the seminary's alumni, partner congregations and friends as they identify the highest-priority needs of their communities and develop community-based organizations and programs to address those needs.Fcli is an intermediary. we give foundations, individual philanthropists and government funders access to an already-existing network of community-based hubs and leaders. we bring nyts-linked organizations together with others to explore opportunities for collaboration. in addition, we provide a suite of technical-assistance services, including management-consulting, program- and project-design and incubation services.
