Our mission is to oversee the coordination of events, such as tedxcolumbus, within the community to advance innovation, bring people together to spark deep discussion, share ideas worth spreading and to serve as an incubator for individuals, organizations and groups that wish to start new and innovative community events. ted is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. ted believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, & ultimately the world in the spirit of ideas worth spreading. ted has created a program called tedx, which is a program of local, self organized events that bring people together to share a ted-like experience.
