Taxpayers for energy efficiency, inc. Is a grass-roots organization that was formed to promote a sustainable energy future by educating the general public about environmental and energy resource conservation issues and opportunities and supporting a constitutional referendum on energy efficiency. The organization will encourage citizens in our community to learn about the legislative process and how to have an effective voice in government. The organization will assist in promoting the common good and general welfare of society by informing citizens of the tools they need to build relationships with legislators in order to create a sustainable energy future. The public greatly benefits from understanding the legislative process and being involved in policy-making.
