The foster home this program will allow the rescue of and provide the care and shelter for adoptable stray and homeless animals, owner surrendered animals and animals scheduled for euthanasia at various county operated animal shelters. the animals will be fostered at either a private residence or a managed shelter established by the hsln and cared for until an approved permanent home can be found and the adoption process completed. the sanctuary program this program will provide care and shelter for animals deemed unadoptable after rescue due to unforeseen problems or problems that develop after rescue, when euthanasia of the particular animal is not necessary. foster animals declared unadoptable will be maintained by the hsln as a sanctuary rescue until natural death occurs or until euthanize cannot be avoided.
