The incorporators of St. Simon El Mokatom are all committed Christians who had the desire to provide practical services to aid newly arriving Middle Eastern immigrants to the United States. Furthermore, the organization will help the poor and underprivileged people in the Middle East. The idea of the organization stemmed from seeing many immigrant families family arrive to the United States, and have very little resources to support themselves and little resource to be part of the American Society and from seeing the heartfelt need of many poor and underprivileged in the Middle East.
