House Of Light

Helps people overcome the devastating effects of mental illness such as loneliness, isolation and low self-esteem through the power of friendship. Volunteer-based programs and services, which serve as a complement to therapy, provide supportive friendships for people in mental health care, helping them on their recovery journey. House of Lights monthly support group for people caring for someone who is mentally ill will address common experiences, such as caregiver stress, coping with an ongoing sense of loss and social stigma, as well as practical issues. We are currently seeking a volunteer facilitator for this program.
