The primary activity of the organization is to provide additional funds for the women's basketball program at Yorba Linda High School as well as moral support for the student participants in the program. Because of decreasing athletic department budgets, supplemental funds are necessary to provide a quality and competitive basketball program. Fundraising is the principal activity of the booster club, which constitutes the majority of the club's functions. All funds raised are used to directly benefit the women's basketball program for the purchase of equipment and uniforms, to pay for tournament fees, trophies, coaching and any other expenses not otherwise covered by the school's budget.
